RachelFacchini is currently studying Performance Dance at Ryerson University, working towards her BFA. Some of Rachel’s other educational experiences include guest classes with Batsheva Dance Company and Inbal Pinto & Avshalom Pollak Dance Company (Tel Aviv, Israel), IGNITE Summer Intensive (hosted by TOES for dance), Peggy Baker Dance Projects Intensive, Toronto Dance Theatre Intensive and GAGA + Repertoire Workshops with Ella Rothschild, Laura Toma and Olivia Tarrish Ancona.
Rachel’s rigor and self-discipline has led her to work as a senior apprentice in Jessica Ford’s, Human First Dance Company, where she had the opportunity to participate in live performances and further her training as a contemporary and improvisational dancer. Furthermore, Rachel has worked with renowned choreographers such as: Peggy Baker (SIP), Debbie Wilson and Julia Sasso (SIP), Alvin Collantes, Christina Digiuseppe, Alysa Pires, Kristina Obelienius, Liony Garcia, Angela Cecchino and Marie-Josee Chartier (Dance Made in Canada Festival 2017).
